We're a small team building GhostTune from the ground up. If something isn't working or you have a question, reach out directly — you'll hear from a real person.
GhostTune is currently verified on MicroSquirt* hardware running MS2/Extra* 3.4.4 firmware. Compatibility testing for additional ECUs and firmware versions is ongoing. Check the compatibility table on the home page for current status.
GhostTune communicates with your ECU over WiFi via a supported WiFi-to-serial bridge connected to the ECU's diagnostic serial port. No phone adapters or Bluetooth are required. Supported hardware and firmware requirements will be detailed in the in-app Setup Wizard before launch.
No. All ECU communication and tune data stays entirely on your device and local network. GhostTune does not transmit your tune files or engine parameters to any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
GhostTune is preparing for beta. App Store release is coming soon. If you'd like to be notified when beta drops or when the app launches, email us at support@cruxresolve.com and we'll add you to the list.
Beta access will be opened to a limited group of MS2/Extra* 3.4.4 users first. Email support@cruxresolve.com with your hardware setup and we'll be in touch when spots open up.
Email support@cruxresolve.com with a description of the issue, your device model, iOS version, and ECU firmware version. Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful and speed up the fix.
GhostTune includes a multi-stage write safety system that verifies every burn before returning control. That said, tuning carries inherent risk — always keep a known-good tune backup before making changes, and never tune a running engine in an unsafe environment.
Yes — Demo Mode lets you explore every screen and gauge with simulated live data, so you can familiarise yourself with the app before you're connected to an ECU.
GhostTune is intended for experienced tuners. Incorrect ECU changes can damage engines or create unsafe operating conditions. Always maintain a known-good tune backup before making changes, and never tune a running engine in an unsafe environment.
