All communication between GhostTune and your ECU occurs over your local WiFi network. No tuning data leaves your device.
The Application itself does not collect analytics or usage data. However, certain minimal technical information may be collected by the platforms through which the Application is distributed or operated:
If you contact us by email, submit a support request, or express interest in beta access, we may receive information you choose to provide — such as your email address, message contents, device model, iOS version, ECU firmware version, screenshots, or hardware setup details. We use this information only to respond to your request, manage beta access, and improve GhostTune. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.
Any information we receive (such as crash reports) is used solely for the purpose of improving the Application — diagnosing bugs, improving stability, and enhancing the user experience. We do not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any information we receive against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Because GhostTune does not transmit your tuning data or personal information over the internet, your ECU data remains on your device and local network at all times.
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this Policy and, where appropriate, by posting a notice within the Application.
