Crux Resolve LLC · GhostTune, GhostBridge & Website · Effective September 8, 2026 · Version 5.4

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the GhostTune application, GhostBridge product and compatibility inquiries, the Crux Resolve website, website analytics, optional forms, OEM and custom-firmware inquiries, GhostBridge checkout information received from Stripe, and information voluntarily submitted for support.

2. Local operation of GhostTune

GhostTune is designed to operate locally on an Apple device and over a local WiFi connection between that device and a compatible ECU or ECU WiFi bridge. The current version does not require or create a user account and does not use a Crux Resolve cloud service to operate its ECU tuning features.

GhostTune does not contain advertising or cross-application tracking technology. It does not use developer-controlled analytics or remote telemetry. It does not automatically transmit ECU data, tune files, engine parameters, sensor readings, logs, or tuning-session information to Crux Resolve LLC. ECU information, tune data, settings, and files created by GhostTune are processed or stored locally unless the user deliberately exports or shares them.

3. Local files and user-directed sharing

GhostTune may store settings, tune backups, logs, reports, and other files in the application’s private storage. Crux Resolve LLC receives a file only when the user deliberately sends it to the Company, such as with a support request. Destinations selected through Apple sharing or file features handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.

4. Website hosting and routine request data

The website is hosted through third-party infrastructure. Hosting, network, and security providers may process routine request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver and protect the website. Crux Resolve LLC does not operate behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking on the website.

5. Website analytics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate website traffic and page performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors’ personal data and does not track individual end users across customers’ Internet properties. Its Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics.

The website also offers optional Google Analytics 4 measurement. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded unless a visitor selects Allow analytics. Declining does not prevent use of the website or Cloudflare Web Analytics.

When Google Analytics is allowed, it may process pages viewed, page titles, referring sources, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, interaction events, and identifiers stored in first-party analytics cookies. This information is transmitted to Google for analytics processing. Google signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the website configuration, and Crux Resolve LLC does not use analytics for targeted advertising.

The Google Analytics choice is stored in the browser’s local storage and can be reviewed or changed through Privacy choices in the website footer.

6. Optional forms and Formspree

Optional website forms—including product updates, GhostBridge stock notifications, device-compatibility requests, and OEM or custom-firmware project inquiries—are processed by Formspree. Depending on the form, submitted information may include an email address, company or organization, device manufacturer and model, serial interface and settings, operating system, host software or platform, use case, estimated quantity, project requirements, notes, public documentation links, ECU or firmware details, submission time, and routine technical information needed to process the request.

When a visitor submits a website form, Crux Resolve may also include the page where the form was submitted and any standard UTM campaign parameters already present in the visitor's current browsing session, such as source, medium, campaign, content, or term. These fields are used to understand which outreach or website paths produce requested inquiries and are not used for targeted advertising.

Crux Resolve LLC uses submitted information only to provide the requested update, compatibility review, project evaluation, support, traffic-source attribution for that submitted request, or related administration. The Company does not sell the information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Do not use public website forms to submit passwords, payment-card information, private keys, proprietary source code, export-controlled technical data, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for the request. Removal or privacy requests may be sent to support@cruxresolve.com.

7. GhostBridge checkout and Stripe

GhostBridge checkout is provided by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment-card details under its own privacy and security practices. Crux Resolve LLC does not receive or store the complete payment-card number. The Company may receive information needed to accept and fulfill an order, including the buyer’s name, email address, shipping address, order details, payment status, tax information, and transaction identifiers.

8. Information voluntarily provided

When a person contacts Crux Resolve LLC for support, feedback, compatibility review, testing, an OEM or custom-firmware inquiry, privacy, or another request, the Company may receive information deliberately included in that communication. This can include contact and company details, device and operating-system information, serial-interface information, ECU and firmware information, project requirements, estimated quantities, screenshots, logs, tune files, diagnostic descriptions, public documentation links, and other attachments or notes.

Do not submit credentials, private keys, complete payment-card information, proprietary source code, export-controlled technical data, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for the request.

9. Apple services and diagnostic information

Apple processes information relating to App Store downloads, purchases, device operation, and Apple services under Apple’s own privacy policies. If a user enables Apple’s option to share crash or diagnostic information with developers, Apple may make limited diagnostic information available to Crux Resolve LLC. The Company uses it only for stability, safety, security, accessibility, and support.

10. How information is used

Information may be used to respond to support, compatibility, privacy, product, OEM, and custom-firmware inquiries; evaluate whether existing or future Crux Resolve hardware or firmware may fit a requested application; send an update specifically requested through an optional form; measure website traffic when analytics consent is granted; accept and fulfill GhostBridge orders; investigate technical problems; improve stability, safety, accessibility, and functionality; prevent fraud, misuse, and security threats; maintain support, tax, accounting, warranty, project, and business records; and comply with legal obligations and valid legal process.

Crux Resolve LLC does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-application tracking.

11. Disclosure and service providers

Information may be processed by service providers used for website hosting, optional analytics, email, forms, payment processing, shipping, file storage, and support. This includes Google when a visitor allows website analytics. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, a business transaction, or at the person’s direction.

12. Retention, deletion, and choices

Local GhostTune files remain on the user’s device until deleted, removed with the application, or handled through an applicable in-app function. Form submissions, compatibility and project inquiries, notification-list information, support communications, order records, analytics reports, and related attachments are retained only as reasonably necessary for the requested service, evaluation, business records, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

Website visitors can change their analytics preference through Privacy choices in the footer. Requests for access, correction, deletion, or removal from a notification list may be sent to support@cruxresolve.com. Some information may be retained when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

13. Security

Crux Resolve LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for information held by the Company. No storage or communication system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting access to their devices and reviewing the privacy practices of destinations to which they export or send files.

14. Children

GhostTune, GhostBridge, and the website are not directed to children under 13. Crux Resolve LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. GhostTune is a technical ECU tuning tool intended for users capable of understanding and following its safety instructions; the App Store age rating is determined separately under Apple’s age-rating system.

15. International communications

Crux Resolve LLC is located in Illinois, United States. Information submitted from outside the United States may be processed and stored in the United States, where laws may differ from those in the sender’s jurisdiction.

16. Changes to this policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the application, website, products, service providers, or law. The effective date and version will be updated when the Policy changes.
