1. Seller and applicability
These Terms apply to purchases of GhostBridge hardware sold by Crux Resolve LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through cruxresolve.com or another sales channel operated by the Company. By placing an order, the buyer agrees to these Terms.
2. Product description and supported configuration
GhostBridge is an assembled WiFi-to-RS232 bridge designed and verified as the wireless hardware companion for GhostTune. The currently published verified use is GhostTune with MicroSquirt hardware running MS2/Extra 3.4.4.
A DB9 connector alone does not establish electrical, pinout, serial-setting, or protocol compatibility. Other RS232 devices and applications are not represented as verified unless Crux Resolve LLC states that compatibility in writing. Contact support before ordering for another use.
The product is the assembled GhostBridge unit. The buyer is responsible for confirming the USB-C power source and DB9 cabling required by the installation. Product specifications, enclosure revisions, and components may change when a functionally equivalent or improved revision is used.
3. Orders and payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Orders are subject to acceptance. The Company may refuse or cancel an order because of pricing error, suspected fraud, product unavailability, shipping restrictions, or another reasonable business or legal concern. A cancelled order will be refunded through the original payment method.
Stripe processes payment information. Crux Resolve LLC does not store complete payment-card numbers. Full payment is required before shipment.
4. Sales tax
Applicable sales tax is calculated or collected based on the shipping destination and the obligations applicable to the transaction.
5. Shipping and delivery
Orders are normally fulfilled and shipped within 2–4 weeks after payment. If a significant delay is expected beyond that period, the Company will contact the buyer. A buyer may request cancellation and a full refund before shipment when the delay is unacceptable.
United States orders are shipped through USPS unless another service is stated at checkout. Shipping charges and available destinations are shown during checkout. Contact support@cruxresolve.com before attempting an international order.
Carrier estimates are not guarantees. Contact support for a lost or damaged shipment so the Company can assist with the carrier process.
6. All sales final
GhostBridge sales are final. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or a compatibility issue that could have been identified by reviewing the published supported configuration or contacting support before purchase.
7. Defective units and transit damage
If a unit arrives unable to function as described because of a verified manufacturing defect or transit damage, contact support@cruxresolve.com within seven days of delivery. Include the order number, a description, and photographs or video that reasonably show the issue.
After verification, the Company may provide repair, replacement, or refund. This does not cover damage caused by improper wiring, power, installation, modification, misuse, environmental exposure, or use outside the published configuration.
8. Warranty disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GHOSTBRIDGE IS SOLD “AS IS” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS,” EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS DEFECT AND TRANSIT-DAMAGE PROCESS IN SECTION 7. THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE PERMITTED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow every disclaimer or limitation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRUX RESOLVE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO AN ENGINE, VEHICLE, ECU, OTHER EQUIPMENT, OR DATA, EVEN IF THE POSSIBILITY WAS KNOWN.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PRODUCT PURCHASE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT. NON-WAIVABLE LEGAL RIGHTS REMAIN UNAFFECTED.
10. Intended use and buyer responsibility
GhostBridge is intended for technically capable users familiar with ECU tuning, RS232 communication, wiring, and automotive electronics. The buyer is responsible for confirming the installation, power, cable, pinout, and supported configuration before use.
Improper installation or use can damage an ECU, vehicle, engine, or other equipment. Maintain a known-good tune backup before making ECU changes.
11. Export and compliance
The buyer must comply with applicable export controls, sanctions, and other laws and must not purchase or use the product where prohibited.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Illinois law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Disputes will be handled in a court with lawful jurisdiction in Illinois unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
The Terms in effect when an order is placed govern that order. The current version remains available at this page.
